Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that the Kazan Marina project is of great importance for the republic in terms of developing tourism and the hospitality industry and will help increase the tourist flow to the region.

Sergey Sukhanov thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for his personal involvement and attention in working on the project and noted that the integrated development of the tourist territory will be ensured by providing all support measures, affordable financing, and creating a supporting infrastructure.

The future resort "Kazan Marina" is recognized as a priority investment project, which will allow providing additional benefits to investors during the project implementation. Key support measures, including concessional lending and subsidizing the construction of supporting infrastructure, will ensure the effective implementation of the project. The region's economy will have a significant impact - about 1,900 new jobs will be created.

The complex project "Kazan Marina" will become a new tourist magnet in Tatarstan and the first center built at least in the last 30 years with a full-cycle marina for 300 yachts. On an area of 72.8 hectares, it is planned to build nine investment lots with hotel facilities of various categories with a number of 1,250 rooms. The resort will become one of the centers of the interregional tourist route "Great Volga Way".

Earlier, the master plan of the Kazan Marina integrated tourism project was approved at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Tourism Corporation.Russian Federation", which was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
