General Director of Tourism.Russian Federation Sergey Sukhanov presented the preliminary concept of the master plan of the tourist territory "Laishevo" in the Republic of Tatarstan

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko held a meeting on the development of tourism and tourism infrastructure in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The meeting discussed the development of the republic's tourism infrastructure and the implementation of the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the development of river and cruise tourism, as well as the creation of the national tourist route "Great Volga Way".

"The President gave instructions to develop river and cruise tourism. I would like to thank the regions and Rosmorrechflot for the work that is already underway to expand the route network. Our goal is to increase the offer of services and make this type of recreation more accessible. For this purpose, a program of subsidizing interregional river passenger transportation for 2023-2025 should be developed. It will stimulate the development of domestic tourism and will significantly increase the tourist flow in the regions located along our main river arteries. I know that regional governors are extremely interested in this, in particular, the Volga Federal District is already actively working on the implementation of the interregional project "The Great Volga Road", - said Dmitry Chernyshenko.

Dmitry Chernyshenko thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for his active participation in the events of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry". According to expert estimates, the work of the subject is an example for many regions. He also noted that the tourist flow to the republic is almost equal to the population and annually amounts to more than 3.5 million visitors.

Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that the development of domestic tourism in the Russian Federation and the formation of accessibility of tourist products for the citizens of our country is one of the priorities in the work of the region: "Within the framework of the federal project "Development of Tourist Infrastructure" of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry", a new system of development of tourist projects is being built, which in the future for tourists".

General Director of JSC " Corporation Tourism.Russian Federation" Sergey Sukhanov presented the concept of the master plan of the tourist territory "Laishevo". It is proposed to divide it into three clusters: Southern, Central, and Northern. In the Southern Cluster, artificial channels will be created with objects placed on its banks, which will significantly increase the number of rooms directly at the water's edge. The heart of the Laishevo resort will be the Central Cluster, where, in addition to modern hotels with a spa complex, there will be a yacht marina with everything necessary for servicing small motor and sailing vessels. A key feature of the Northern Cluster will be an artificial backwater, around which accommodation facilities and sports infrastructure will be concentrated: a water sports center, swimming pools, a cart track, a center for renting motorcycle and bicycle equipment and snowmobiles.

"Based on the results of joint work of the Republic of Tatarstan and Tourism.The Russian Federation has formed a list of land plots with a total area of almost 73 hectares. It is planned to build swimming pools, marinas, sports facilities and hotels with 785 rooms. The volume of investment in the construction of hotel infrastructure is tentatively estimated at 11.2 billion rubles. Thanks to this, we expect that 540 thousand people will visit Laishevo annually by 2030," said Sergey Sukhanov.

The agreement on cooperation in the framework of the national project "Tourism and hospitality industry" Republic of Tatarstan and Tourism.The agreement was signed by the Russian Federation in March 2022.
