Dmitry Chernyshenko: The project "New Anapa" is focused on family sanatorium and resort holidays

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko held a meeting of the sub-commission on the implementation of tourist investment projects of federal significance of the Government Commission for Tourism Development in the Russian Federation as part of a working trip to the Krasnodar Territory. It discussed the implementation of complex investment projects in the Krasnodar Territory and summed up the preliminary results of the summer tourist season in the region.

The meeting was attended by Veniamin Kondratyev, Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Boris Titov, Presidential Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs ' Rights, Yuri Gordeev, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Russia, and General Director of JSC Corporation Tourism.Russian Federation" Sergey Sukhanov, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Energy and other interested agencies.

Dmitry Chernyshenko began the meeting by congratulating President Vladimir Putin on his birthday.

"Today is the Russian President's birthday. We cordially congratulate him. Thanks to Vladimir Vladimirovich, our country is rapidly developing not only tourism, but also all key areas of the economy and social sphere. Let me remind you that the head of state instructed us to create federal year-round seaside resorts that will ensure the tourist flow of at least 10 million people a year by 2035. In November, we should present the Five Seas and Lake Baikal project to the President, which also includes Novaya Anapa and Abrau-Durso, " Dmitry Chernyshenko said.

The meeting discussed the implementation of the investment project to create a federal year-round seaside resort "Novaya Anapa".

"The resort should become a catalyst for positive changes in the industry and be focused on family-friendly spa holidays. During the year, a work plan was formed and a road map was approved, architectural and urban planning solutions and a master plan for the future resort are being developed. I would like to emphasize that " Novaya Anapa “should be intended exclusively for recreation of our citizens, it is unacceptable to build housing for sale on the territory of the resort. Another key condition for construction is the connection of communications, networks and roads to it. It is necessary to preserve a specially protected natural area – I think its development is correct, taking into account all environmental standards, " Dmitry Chernyshenko said.

"The project is being implemented in full compliance with the approved roadmap, and we are on schedule. 7 interdepartmental working groups have been created and are effectively working in key areas together with the region. 18 potential investors have already expressed interest in cooperation on the project implementation, " Sergey Sukhanov said.

The development of the Abrau-Durso resort was discussed at the meeting. In particular, Dmitry Chernyshenko instructed the Ministry of Construction, together with the Krasnodar Territory, and the Tourism Corporation.The Russian Federation and investors should prepare proposals for the development of the marine part of this resort.

During the meeting of the sub-commission, preliminary results of the 2023 summer tourist season in the Krasnodar Territory were presented. So, since the beginning of the year, the region has already been visited by 16 million tourists, 10 million of whom – during the three summer months. Guests were received by almost 11 thousand objects with a total capacity of more than 625 thousand seats.

"The number of tourist trips is one of the key indicators of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry", and we will continue to support the growth of tourist flow to the Krasnodar Territory. As for the construction of modular hotels, the Government, on behalf of the President, allocated additional funds for this purpose. This year, the Krasnodar Territory is provided with about 98 million rubles and in 2024 about 30 million rubles. I urge the region to actively use the tools of the national project and provide a high-quality supply of high demand for domestic tourism among our citizens, " the Deputy Prime Minister said.
