"The Kursk region has a rich history, and this should be taken into account when developing concepts for tourism development, choosing the created tourist services. As part of our joint work with the region, we will review existing projects in detail, evaluate their financial and economic models, and make adjustments if necessary. Together with the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, we will analyze the needs for transport and engineering infrastructure for tourist complexes being created in the region. The Ministry of Construction will allocate funds for the construction of communications for specific projects that have proven their effectiveness. Only by using a comprehensive approach will we be able to create a comfortable and attractive environment for travelers and investors, " said Sergey Sukhanov.

"In the Kursk region in the next year there will be two objects with a decent tourist potential.  A cluster based on the watermill is currently being created at an active stage. This will attract an additional flow of tourists to the Kursk region and will help preserve the traditions and culture of the people. The cluster on the basis of the Kurskaya Duga memorial complex can become an equal center of attraction for tourists on the northern face of the Kursk Bulge. Its creation is planned for August 2023, the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory, the idea is supported at the federal level, " said Roman Starovoit.
